Im Jaehyoung collects images of personal and social loss and explores them in various ways, linking the concept of 'disappearance' with the act of painting. Through his paintings, he creates a unique visual distance, addressing the psychological and ethical distances associated with absence.

From 1973-76 he attended the University Witwatersrand, in Johannesburg, South Africa. He studied at the  Johannesburg Art Foundation, Johannesburg, South Africa, from which he graduated in 1978. In the early ‘80s he moved to Paris to study theater, attending the École Jacques LeCoq, and investigating acting, directing, and filmmaking, with little success. In the late 1980s he went back to art, making drawings and animated films and other films. Between 1989 and 2011, he created 10 Drawings for Projection, a set of 10 animated movies, which caused him to understand that the films were fundamental to his work. Kentridge has also directed several operas. He has been awarded The Carnegie Prize, Pittsburgh in 2000, and is the recipient of several honorary doctorates, including an Honorary Doctorate from the Royal College of Art, London in 2010.

He was Humanitas Visiting Professor in Contemporary Art at Oxford University, Oxford, UK in 2013. He was honored as a Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres.  In 2016, his solo exhibition “Thick Time” opened at Whitechapel Gallery in London. Kentridge has participated in Documenta (2012, 2002, 1997) as well as the Venice Biennale (2015, 2005, 1999 and 1993). His work is in the collections of the Tate, London, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, among many others.

PARK Wunggyu (b. 1987) has consistently presented works that explore the painterly possibilities of Oriental art by creating a symbolic order of positive and negative through subjects that evoke ambivalent emotions.  He specialized in Oriental painting, captures images on canvas that evoke ambivalent characteristics, based on his artistic responses to classical Buddhist paintings from Korea and Japan. Particularly, he refers to the 'Hwayukbeop' (畵六法, Six Principles of Painting) of Oriental painting, constituted by imitation, composition, form, texture, transformation, and application. Drawing on these principles, he incorporates into his artwork ambiguous emotions and sensations provoked by 'negativity', such as negative things, situations, and emotions. The series "Dummy” that began in 2015 initially depicted forms of monsters and gods without a specific subject. However, starting from 2019, it began to adopt realistic forms by borrowing from various insects like moths and cicadas, as well as from grotesque creatures. In the new 2023 work, a set of ten pieces titled Dummy No. 91~100 (2023) was introduced, showcasing the unique formative aspects seen from different parts of a cow's internal organs, magnifying and describing them in detail. Additionally, inspired by the Zen painting 'Sibu do' (十牛圖, Ten Ox-Herding Pictures) that characterizes human nature in 10 stages, the artist presented a work named The Ten Oxherding Pictures (2023), concentrating the process of eating, digesting, and excreting a cow in 10 frames. Another piece, Scar No.17 (2023), interpreted the ten types of a cow's internal organs using Chinese characters, was also displayed alongside the aforementioned works.




PARK Wunggyu was born in Seoul, Korea, in 1987. He received his BFA in Korean painting at Chugye University for the Arts in 2010, and MFA in Korean painting at Chugye University for the Arts in 2015. PARK Wunggyu began his active career as a resident artist at the Cheongju Art Studio from 2016. He has held solo exhibitions at various institutions such as ARARIO GALLERY SEOUL (Seoul, Korea, 2023), Art Space Boan1(Seoul, Korea, 2022), Onground2 (Seoul, Korea, 2018), and Space Kneet (Seoul, Korea, 2017), Cheongju Art Studio (Cheongju, Korea, 2016), as well as group exhibitions held at Ilmin Museum of Art (Seoul, Korea, 2023), Seoul Museum of  Art (Seoul, Korea, 2022), Danwon Art Museum (Ansan, Korea, 2021), Art Sonje Center (Seoul, Korea, 2021), Aram Art Museum (Goyang, Korea, 2019), and more.

At the heart of Rodel Tapaya’s work is his ongoing amalgamation of folk narrative and contemporary reality within the framework of memory and history. Utilizing a range of media - from large acrylic on canvasses to the exploration of under-glass painting, traditional crafts, diorama, and drawing - Tapaya filters his observations of the world through folktales and pre-colonial historical research,  creating whimsical montages of his characters.

Rodel Tapaya was awarded the coveted Top Prize in the Nokia Art Awards, which allowed him to pursue intensive drawing and painting courses at Parsons School of Design in New York and the University of Helsinki in Finland. In 2011, he won a landmark achievement for a Filipino artist by winning the Signature Art Prize given by the Asia-Pacific Breweries Foundation and the Singapore Art Museum. He was also among the Thirteen Artists Awardee of the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 2012. 

‘Munins’ or Munin Saiprasart (Born in 1988), stands as an acclaimed artist, writer, and illustrator with a reputation spanning over a decade. Her passion for comics ignited in childhood, kindling dreams of mastering the art of drawing. Life, however, took a detour as she pursued studies in the Faculty of Architecture at Khon Kaen University. Post-graduation, Munins redirected her path to pursue what she genuinely loved – cartoon drawing. Starting with grayscale graphic novels, she wove tales of diverse relationships, resonating with warmth, tenderness, and a touch of romance. 

Munins’s standout quality lies in her ability to breathe life into characters that communicate emotions and feelings so profoundly that readers are left feeling as if her creations exist in the tangible realm. This evokes a sense of attachment and connection, weaving an intricate bond between the audience and her characters. In addition to the captivating strokes that captivate the viewers, Munins is also a wordsmith extraordinaire, skillfully conveying both joy and sorrow simultaneously. This dual mastery has earned her a legion of book enthusiasts, propelling her to become a writer and illustrator with a Facebook following of over 600,000 avid fans. 
Embarking on a journey from the realms of comic writing, Munins made a foray into the fine arts scene in 2022 with the exhibition “B-Side” at Palette Art Space. Here, she showcased both digital works and NFTs. Following this, Munins continued to make waves with collective exhibitions like “Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer’s Day?” (2022) and “To the Moon and (Never) Back” (2023) at River City Bangkok. Her first solo exhibition “Blackout” (2024) that marked a significant turning point in Munins’s artistic career as she pushed her creative boundaries, crafting works that grew more daring and challenged her own artistic limits. Munins chose to narrate life stories and relationships in an unconventional, rare format, drawing directly from her own experiences. The predominant use of black, a color she once avoided for its stark clarity, added depth to her compositions. Additionally, Munins experimented with previously unexplored color palettes, coupled with a transformative shift in her creative process. Formerly centered on structured storytelling, her approach evolved into a form of liberated drawing, allowing emotions to guide lines and leading her into uncharted dimensions. Notably, many pieces in the exhibition emerged from Munins’s semi-conscious or blackout stages, aligning seamlessly with the very essence of the exhibition’ title. The Blackout exhibition has received an excellent response from viewers and collectors.


Abdessemed is a conceptual artist who works in a range of media including drawing, video, photography, performance, and sculpture, and collaborates with creators from many fields, from poetry to dance and architecture. He manipulates familiar materials and images to create provocative and often violent works influenced by his exposure to the Gulf War and its global impact. Drawing on personal, political, and historical narratives, the artist believes that his art “is a confrontation that leads to a break with the norm and is accompanied by extreme anger,” but that his work is simultaneously  “…actually positive. The world is violent – not me".
Abdessemed’s work has been presented at four Venice Biennales (2003, 2007, 2011, 2015), where he received the Benesse Prize in 2007.  He has been the subject of solo exhibitions at major institutions including the Centre Georges Pompidou, the San Francisco Art Institute, MoMA PS1, and the Musée d’art moderne et contemporain in Geneva. His work is held in the permanent collections of the Musée d’art moderne de la Ville de Paris, the Musée national d’art moderne Georges-Pompidou, Paris, the Collection Budi Tek, Shanghai, and the Fondation François Pinault, Venice, among others.

Halo mainly draws using a pencil. Characters reminiscent of clouds and smoke, faces, flowers, objects, and landscapes are connected to each other with soft lines. The combination of delicate pencil drawings and simple characters is exquisite and natural. He tries to face the moment when his attention is taken by small things that can be easily overlooked in everyday life and also when he encounters a trivial but impressive incident. He imagines that things that have passed, things that have been lost, things that are no longer visible are out there somewhere, and he remembers them 
in a very personal and small way.

Gungho - An artist with a collection of young collectors in the US, China, Taiwan, and Japan. He has incredible skill, working in a way that leaves no brushstrokes on the artwork.

Park Kyung Ryul(b.1979) is based in Seoul, South Korea. Park received a B.F.A and a M.F.A in Fine Arts from Hongik University, and an M.F.A from Chelsea College of Arts. Park has held solo exhibitions at Baik Art Seoul (2024, Seoul), One and J. Gallery (2021, Seoul), DOOSAN Gallery New York(2020, New York), DOOSAN Gallery (2020, Seoul), Baik Art Seoul (2019, Seoul), and Lungley Gallery (2018, London). Park has also participated in group exhibitions at Buk-Seoul Museum of Art(2023, Seoul), Open Studio(2022, California), Perigee Gallery(2021, Seoul), Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art (2020, Ansan), Ilmin Museum of Art (2019, Seoul), Mine Project (2019, Hong Kong), Beijing Commune (2019, Beijing), SongEun Art Space (2018, Seoul). Park was awarded the SongEun Art Excellence Award in 2018, and also participated in 18th Street Art center Residency, DOOSAN Residency New York, SeMA Nanji Residency and MMCA Residency Goyang.

Sakhai received her Bachelor’s in Art History and Fine Arts from Hofstra University, and currently serves on the advisory board for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She received her Masters in Fine Arts from the Academy of Art University and has studied internationally including d’Arts Plastique I Disseny (LLOTJA) in Spain. Additionally, she has taught art at the University of California, Berkeley. Her paintings are exhibited in galleries around the world including Tokyo, Ibiza, Miami, Carmel-By-The-Sea, Berkshires, Dallas, and New York City. Her art remains in both private and public collections including the Montefiore Einstein Medical Center, The Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, and Kamakura Park in Japan. Sakhai's work has been exhibited in Universities including Stanford, Michigan Medicine, The Academy of Art, Hofstra, and Mary Hardin-Baylor. She recently published her first book titled ‘Awakening’, a compilation of 200 of her paintings.

POSE began painting graffiti in 1992 and in years since has expanded his vigorous career to include murals, commercial collaborations and exhibitions around the globe. He earned his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2004, and then turned his own graffiti education into a body of work blending a wealth of pop culture’s ready-made visual languages. Street signage, comics, newspapers and advertisements are reimagined through dissection, digitization and reconstitution, collectively immortalizing post-industrial moments for the digital age. POSE was named “One to Watch” by CNN in 2015, and has exhibited in the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, Powerlong Museum Shanghai, Museum of Contemporary Art Chengdu, and Chosun Ilbo Museum of Art, Seoul, among others. His work is enjoyed in numerous private collections worldwide.


Set Byul LI (b.1970, S. Korea) lives in Daejeon and works in Seoul. 
Early on, the artist created paintings that intersect multiple layers of time and space through solo exhibitions such as ≪Green Catastrophe≫(2013), ≪Interface Scenery≫(2014), And ≪Layerscape≫(2022) has been released, and has dealt with the theme of social tragedy and the evils of reality hidden behind the scenery.

The key themes in her works are ‘green’ and ‘the human.’ Green, which should represent life, a place of respite, and a source of regeneration, seeps and clings to the skin—a kind of green that emanates from a system of capital that has now become our natural domain. Because seeing is always filtered through the desires of the subject who looks, a gaze that is both distorted and captivated, she questions this through the act of placing various objects or effects onto the face. Through these reconstructed landscapes and altered human forms, she explores the anguish and ethical questions of existence that emerge from the contradictions of capitalism, such as the tension between the artificial and the natural, ecological crises, and the subject in a digital society.

Atom (b. 2000, Bangkok, Thailand) graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University in 2022. Atom’s work delves into the collective memory of historical events and explores the profound relationship between humans and nature. He believes in the interconnectedness of events and their enduring impact on society.

Atom presents reinterpretations of historical events within contemporary contexts through experimental painting. His work was prominently featured at 'Save Point' at Kinjai Contemporary in 2022, where he introduced new perspectives on historical narratives. Continuing his exploration, Atom has challenged conventional views of collective memory by placing historical events in new cultural frameworks, as showcased in the exhibitions 'AMBIVALOVE' at Alte Handelsschule and 'D.E.T' at Pilotenkeuche during his residency in Germany in 2023.

Seokmee Noh's works are mainly based on her surroundings and everyday moments such as people or objects. Despite the simple compositions and shapes, it's the key brushstrokes and vivid colors that make the subject matter stand out clearly on the canvas. In particular, the artist's way of expressing her emotions through color rather than form gives off a distinctive cool and lively nuance due to the stark color contrasts. This, coupled with Noh's free-flowing, jerky brushstrokes, creates a vibrant texture that is sometimes accompanied by simple letters or phrases, which is another characteristic of her work.
Born in Seoul, Korea, Seokmee graduated from Hongik University College of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 1994 and has since held solo and group exhibitions at various art spaces in Seoul, the United States, Sweden, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Representative exhibitions include 'Poetic Collection' at the Seoul Museum of Art, 'Painting and Narrative' at Museum San, and 'When I Wake Up in the Morning' at Albus Gallery. In Jeju, she exhibited 128 paintings depicting the front view of the sea at the Jeju Biennale 2022. Her works are currently in the collections of the Seoul Museum of Art, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Art Bank, and the Space Body Museum. She currently lives with his cat in Yangpyeong, South Korea, where she continues to communicate with the world through writing and painting.

Herbert Matter was a Swiss-born American photographer and graphic designer known for his innovative use of photomontage in posters. Matter also photographed the unique personalities of his friends Alexander Calder and Alberto Giacometti at work in their studios. Born on April 25, 1907 in Engelberg, Switzerland, he went on to study painting under Fernand Léger and Amédée Ozenfant in Paris, before working as an assistant to the famed architect Le Corbusier. During the early 1930s, Matter established his career in design with the posters he created for the Swiss National Tourist Office. Moving to New York in 1936, the artist worked as a freelance photographer for a number of magazines including Vogue, before being signed exclusively by Condé Nast. In the decades that followed, Matter took on many roles, including working as a design consultant for both the furniture company Knoll and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. The artist died on May 8, 1984 in Southampton, NY. Today, his works are held in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C., the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, among others.

Adept in printmaking, watercolor and installation, he is best known for his sculptures, particularly his silhouettes, which range from miniatures to large-scale works. Often disturbing or awkward, the sculptures present distorted expressions and a malevolent presence, exploring the role of the artist in contemporary society.
Architectural models are also an important part of Thomas Schütte’s artistic practice. He has created a series of models, in different scales, including Model for a Hotel (2003), which was installed on the fourth plinth of Trafalgar Square in London in 2007. He refers to the models as a way of opening up works to the viewer: “I use models because they are something anyone can understand. You can see them as a prototype for something bigger, something seen from a child’s perspective; you could see them as a public stage. Schütte has had many solo exhibitions at venues including the Dia Center for the Arts in New York in 1999, the Reina Sofia in 2010, the Serpentine Gallery in London in 2012, the Fondation Beyeler in 2013, and the Kunsthaus Bregenz in 2019, among others. He received the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale in 2005 and the Düsseldorf Prize in 2010. Schütte’s work is in the collections of the Tate Modern in London, MoMA in New York and the Art Institute of Chicago.
