Hye Yeong Kim (b.1995) is an emerging artist based in Korea, whose work explores themes of solitude, isolation, and stillness. Trained in traditional Korean painting, Kim combines Korean pigments with contemporary media, including acrylics, oils, and oil-colored pencils on linen and canvas, to produce highly detailed and realistic works. Her paintings often depict vacant homes, solitary figures, and expansive landscapes, creating tranquil spaces that invite quiet reflection and contemplation. 

Central to Kim's practice is the belief that solitude is a crucial condition for personal growth and self-discovery. Drawing inspiration from Paulo Coelho’s notion of solitude as a transformative force, Kim’s work offers viewers a respite from the distractions of modern life. Through her serene, immersive landscapes—often featuring the sea—she creates spaces where viewers can engage deeply with the artwork and reflect on their own experiences. With her unique fusion of traditional techniques and modern sensibilities, Kim is quickly establishing herself as a distinctive voice in the Korean contemporary art scene.

Duenchayphoochana Phooprasert is an artist and author who currently teaches for the Visual Arts Program at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Valaya Alongkorn University. Duenchayphoochana’s works of art have always involved clay. She utilizes raw materials like wood, clay, water, and sunlight to depict her ideas about the relationship between change in nature and change in human beings. When natural energy causes “movement” in the artwork, it is similar to the work of time and events that create both good and evil “movement” for humans. Her creation, therefore, suggests the universal truth about energy shifting that has affected us all along.

Kim Hanna is a painter who has lived and worked in Busan since she graduated from the College of Fine Arts at Busan ​​National University. She has depicted the life and relationship between two characters, Hanna and Rabbit which the artist's internal world is reflected by.  

She has had many solo exhibitions, including Alternative Space Loop in 2006, Arario Gallery Beijing in 2007, Arario Gallery Seoul in 2008 and 2013, and Gana Art Gallery Busan in 2017. She also completed her solo exhibitions at Seoul Lotte Hotel & Resort Gallery in 2018, and Ecru in Busan in 2021. She had her first solo exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand in 2023.

She has tried to work with her wide span of creativity. She collaborated with Uniqlo, Shinsegae Department Store, etc. She also created the album cover work for Monthly Yoon Jong Shin. In 2022, she published a Poem book with drawings with the poet Park June. 

Kama was born in 1995, is a young artist living in Saigon. Most of his practice revolves around street art, especially Graffiti. In addition to developing personal projects, zKhoa is also a founder of the Wallovers (WO) team, which is a team of young artists have same orentation, , who want to bring street art to the masses in the near future.

zKhoa's interest revolves around inner interpretations and everyday life. His works are derived from everyday material, fragmented, brought to pieces and transformed into new forms in his own story.

Graffiti works by Kama tend to have bright colors, mixing personal voices, local stories and Asian spirit in the language of street art.

Inah Choe’s work, characterized by narrative abstraction, gradually reveals images through layers of tentative painting moments. Her paintings begin with lingering echoes of both experienced and imagined narratives, navigating between figuration and abstraction. The material properties of paint and various painterly elements interact on the canvas, creating an unpredictable state of change.
Inah Choe (b.1990) graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and received her MFA and PhD in Painting from the Graduate School of Hongik University. She has held several solo exhibitions, including Deep Ground (l’espace71, 2021), Slippery Night (Sangup Gallery, 2020), and Fermi Bubbles (17717, 2017). She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions such as Trees (17717, 2023), Epiphany of the Wind (Space Sieon, 2023), Portrait of Scenery (Bef Storage, 2023), New & Next (Seoul Auction Gangnam Center, 2023), Untitled: Plane, Layer (Gallery JJ, 2023), Transversal Surfaces (Lotte Gallery, 2023), Vibrant Gap_PATCH (One and J Gallery, 2022), and It Doesn’t Matter (Obscura, 2022). Her work has been featured in art fairs such as Art Busan (2023), The Preview Seongsu (2022), and The Preview Hannam (2021). She was selected for the Korea Arts Management Service Preliminary Represented Artist Program (2023) and the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture's Agora Cicada’s Sentence project (2018). 

Georg Baselitz has had a profound influence on international art since 1980 and is indisputably one of the most important artists of our time. He shaped a new identity for German art in the second half of the 20th century; in reaction to the trauma and tragedy of the Second World War, he developed an artistic vocabulary which draws on the work of his forebears, whilst remaining unique and wholly individual. Since then, Baselitz has consistently renewed his practice through formal developments, often responding to art history and his own extensive oeuvre to develop his central themes through an ever-evolving, yet distinct, mode of artistic expression.

The artist has been painting his compositions upside down since 1969. For Baselitz, this novel format was a way of emptying form of its content, navigating between abstraction and figuration, and revolutionising a medium that was then regarded as irredeemably conventional. His directly tactile method of painting with his fingers in the 1970s encouraged a freer use of colour and material that would come to the fore in his expressionist colour fields of the 1980s. This was a seminal decade for the artist, opening with his selection to represent Germany at the 1980 Venice Biennale alongside Anselm Kiefer, which marked his first foray into sculpture.

Volo observes the efforts of everyone living through anxiety and translates it into art by depicting their attempts at self-reliance. She represents the feeling of anxiety through abstract images focused on texture, then reinterprets these images by freely cutting and pasting them to attempt "finding balance." The use of techniques such as cutting, pasting, and stacking, which are borrowed from play, reflects her approach to anxiety: not being consumed by its negative aspects, but rather viewing it positively and utilizing it playfully. The paintings and sculptures, even if the pieces do not fit perfectly, form towers or arches that symbolize various forms of self-reliance, while also representing the multiple relationships that involve interacting and creating solidarity with others. Her major exhibitions include <CRAFT+MAN=SHIP> (2024, Seoulbattleship), <Which Working, Nowadays>(2023, CDA), and <Finding Language> (2022, Gallery Bincan). She participated in the short residency program "Asura Hwalhwalta" organized by the Youth Village in Haenam, Jeollanam-do, and her recent work focuses on the paradoxical imagery of beauty and pain coexisting, as well as the cognitive processes of human beings.

An artist who uses the domestic realm in her work as a starting point for discussing broader matters such as the domestication of women’s politics, authoritarianism and fascism, patriarchy and capitalism, which are still there and have been her concern. 

Dian Suci often displays her work with an awareness of space, depicts body experiences, and plays the composition of objects as metaphors of what she really wants to convey. Dian uses a variety of media for her works, including installations, paintings and videos. 

Muholi is a visual activist and photographer born in Umlazi, Durban, and living in Johannesburg. The artist’s self-proclaimed mission is “to rewrite a black queer and trans visual history of South Africa for the world to know our resistance and existence at the height of hate crimes in SA and beyond."

Jongheon Bae (b. 1969) discovers artistic values in ordinary things with deep thinking and lyrical sensibility, and expresses them through visual media. He creates his own works without restrictions on form and material. He majored in painting at Gachon University and its graduate school, and completed a doctorate in fine arts at Kyungpook National University. Jongheon Bae held a total of 17 solo exhibitions, including Gallery SoSo's 《Trying Nothing》. He also participated in several group exhibitions at home and abroad including Animamix Biennale(Shanghai), Busan Biennale(Busan), Changwon Sculpture Biennale(Changwon), Jeonnam International Ink Biennale(Mokpo), Daegu Photo Biennale(Daegu), the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Sungkok Museum of Art, Arko Art Museum, SFAC Galleries in San Francisco, ArtN space in Shanghai, and DUMBO Art Center in New York. He published a massive book, 『Bae JongHeon_JagUpZipSeo』(2015, Seoul: Monocle), which is a compilation of his artistic world, including artist's notes summarizing his artistic thoughts, work records, and catalogs. Bae Jongheon won the Goam Art Award in 2014, and his works are collected in the Arko Art Museum, Seoul Museum of Art, and Gyeonggi Art Museum. Following the Glenfiddich Artist-in-Residence in Scotland in 2021, he is working as an artist-in-residence at the Changdong Residency at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in 2023. In there he is expanding the scope of his work through inspiration from new spaces and life.

Through his work, Hyunho Park soothes the trauma in memory, replaces its image with other images and functions as though he is undergoing his own rehabilitation. He majored in Western Painting and Video Media at Seoul National University, is currently undertaking a master's degree in Western Painting at the same university, and aesthetically conveys a sense of the past and recollections. The artist depicts disasters like tsunamis, enormous waves, aurora, and meteorites with dazzling forms and hues in his paintings. He tackles not only the artist himself, but also confronts natural objects with self-portraits of the weak human body inside the minds of contemporary people. With synaesthetic imagery, he shares the story of his tough life experience and urges the audience to empathise with his feelings. 

Panuwat "Pay" Kamdee, born in 1999 in Chiang Mai, Thailand, pursued his studies in Fine Arts at Silpakorn University, Bangkok, where he cultivated a unique style that merges traditional Thai art forms with modern techniques and natural pigments. His work often explores the concept of a societal harmonious allegory, symbolizing ideals of unity, balance, and peaceful coexistence. Drawing from Thai mythology and folklore, Pay expresses these themes in a surreal, dreamlike style, presenting accessible and playful pieces that resonate with audiences. His work reflects his childhood memories, making his art both nostalgic and relatable.

Pay has exhibited extensively both in Thailand and internationally, earning acclaim for his innovative approach and thoughtful exploration of environmental and social issues. His art subtly addresses these concerns, inspiring audiences to recognize the depth of his work and its connection to Thai cultural identity. He has also participated in various community art projects, using his platform to promote sustainability and cultural preservation.

Wonmi Seo expresses anxiety and trauma based on autobiographical experiences, societal experiences, and psychological landscapes through the language of painting. She graduated from Sungkyunkwan University and currently resides in Seoul, where she engages with audiences through various exhibitions of her work. The artist combines and deconstructs common materials and symbols, concealing and reinterpreting the ordinary. With this process, her works represent the unrestrained desires of humans today, a collection of characters with shattered and chaotic lifestyles, and the trauma linked with death in Korean history. She believes that viewers of her works will experience the separation of subject and object of the self and will be able to focus on the works and project themselves into them.

Philippe Parreno is a French Artist who rose to prominence in the 1990s, earning critical acclaim for his work that spans a diversity of media, including film, sculpture, drawing, and text. Parreno’s work redefined the exhibition experience by taking it as a medium, placing its construction at the heart of his process.
Parreno has exhibited extensively and has work in major institutions worldwide. His presentation at Cahiers d’Art inaugurates a year of major exhibitions and projects, including solo presentations at the Leeum Museum in Seoul, the Haus der Kunst in Munich, and an important project at the Fondation Beyeler in Basel.

Phichai Keawvichit (b. 1975) is a talented photographer characterized by
his minimalist photography of architecture, gaining a reputation from his
Instagram with 80,000 followers and interview articles by several media.
He presented many photography exhibitions in several locally famous
photo galleries such as Accidentally Professional Exhibition (2019) in Silpa
Bhirasri’s House, Unlock solo exhibition in 2019 at River City Bangkok,
Urban Progress group exhibition in 2021 at Bangkok Art & Culture Centre,
and this latest one The Memoir of Movement in 2022 at River City
Bangkok is regarded as his second solo exhibition. Aside from
photography, Phichai loves writing to share his insightful stories. He is
currently the ‘Ekaphab’ columnist publishing his articles in Matichon
Weekly.

Artist GBDAY’s interest in art grew when he first encountered skateboarding culture and fashion during his adolescence. The artist later began to work on graphics and paintings during his studies in graphic design at university. His artistic stage name, "GBDAY," stands for "Good Day & Bad Day," which contains the artist's desire to illustrate different experiences and emotions of his daily life.

His stage name and its meaning profoundly influenced the world of his work and its creation. 

The artist gains inspiration from human relationships, emotions, and social phenomena he captures daily. His work mainly deals with themes around love, separation, emptiness, and death. The artist links these themes with the skeleton motif, influenced by tattoos, skateboarding culture, and
hip-hop and band music he listened to. The Skeleton motif symbolizes an equal and pure being that everyone, regardless of gender or race, can sympathize with and illustrates the world beyond reality and death. Moreover, Cherry denotes the uncertainty of life, desire, and fruition, and Butterfly portrays life after a newborn death. 

GBDAY uses drawing as a subject that best reveals himself. His works mainly focus on graffiti and pen drawings, although he continuously experiments with various styles and media to develop a unique work. He currently uses graphite and acrylic paints for most of his works, aiming to expand his ways of expression. Furthermore, the artist frequently presents parody-based works where he adds a twist to an existing painting or work that may be familiar to the audience. The artist claims he enjoys creating parody-based works because he wishes his audience to approach art more easily and have some fun interacting with his work. 

"Life Goes On" is a message that signifies not only GBDAY's art but also his life philosophy.

The artist intends to deliver joy and happiness to the audience through his work, conveying the bliss of our life journey. GBDAY is interested in exploring new styles and materials to convey a wider range of emotions in his art.

Language is the very basis of David Douard’s work. The texts and poems he collects on the Internet are manipulated, transformed in order to become a vital flow, feeding into his sculptures. Through language as an ingredient, David Douard redefines space as hybrid and collective by injecting anonymous, chaotic, deviant, ill and frustrating poems in it. As he recreates an infected environment where the real world used to be, the fantasy brought by new digital technologies expands.

Minjung Key studied traditional East Asian painting at Seoul National University, where she also completed her graduate studies. The artist’s artistic practice is deeply rooted in an intimate engagement with materials. By juxtaposing the weight and coldness of glass with the softness of hanji, she explores the tension between contrasting materials. In her newer works, however, this exploration evolves—what emerges is a visual language shaped by the rhythmic qualities inherent in the line itself. These lines, generated through a painterly logic, coalesce into forms that assert a palpable sense of weight and presence within the pictorial space.


Toshiyuki Shibakawa developed an installation of "Excavation site 2000 years later" and recently produced (fossil) type artifacts excavated from there. They not only exhibit individual works but also exhibit various things (Archaeo- logical materials, works of art, antiques, relics, goods, etc.) in collaboration. They hold exhibitions and projects that focus on the region and place such as museums in Japan and overseas, historical buildings and shopping streets. At the same time, they hold workshops for a wide range of people, and continue their activities to reexamine the existence of things and contemporary problems.

Nuttiwut (1993) presents his artwork through the chaotic journey of his own life because these experiences are relatable to may people who may have never realized it. Also, he expresses his work to make fun of himself and the surrounding society, The artist has been creating works and exhibiting constantly. For example, “The Twelve Labours of Hercules” in 2018, “The Art of Survival” in 2019 and additionally he had joined group exhibitions such as “HUMAN-19” in 2020 and “The spirit of Six” in 2019 at Number1Gallery, Hotel Art Fair in 2024. Besides he had participated an international exhibition for instance “Art Expo Malaysia 2019” and Art Fair Philippines in 2020 , Art Busan 2024.
