Danh Vo examines how cultural values, conflicts and traumas are constructed and inherited through work inspired both by his own experiences as well as historical and political events. When he was a child, Vo’s family fled Vietnam and settled in Denmark. His family’s assimilation to European culture and the political events that precipitated their flight from Vietnam are intertwined in his artistic practice; Vo’s work illuminates the interwoven strands of private experience and collective history that shape our sense of self. Using both historically rich readymade objects and personal details that directly and indirectly touch on his own life experiences, Vo examines the larger implications how meaning changes with context, as well as how objects accumulate symbolic weight.

Set Byul LI (b.1970, S. Korea) lives in Daejeon and works in Seoul. 
Early on, the artist created paintings that intersect multiple layers of time and space through solo exhibitions such as ≪Green Catastrophe≫(2013), ≪Interface Scenery≫(2014), And ≪Layerscape≫(2022) has been released, and has dealt with the theme of social tragedy and the evils of reality hidden behind the scenery.

The key themes in her works are ‘green’ and ‘the human.’ Green, which should represent life, a place of respite, and a source of regeneration, seeps and clings to the skin—a kind of green that emanates from a system of capital that has now become our natural domain. Because seeing is always filtered through the desires of the subject who looks, a gaze that is both distorted and captivated, she questions this through the act of placing various objects or effects onto the face. Through these reconstructed landscapes and altered human forms, she explores the anguish and ethical questions of existence that emerge from the contradictions of capitalism, such as the tension between the artificial and the natural, ecological crises, and the subject in a digital society.

The landscapes of Kwon So-young (b. 1986) carry traces of time and the lingering resonance of memory. She explores the subtle sensibilities that arise between one presence and another, and the quiet tremors that exist beyond visible form. Within the interactions of ink, water, and hanji, intention meets chance to create layered depth, capturing the breath of what remains even within what has disappeared. Her landscapes portray nature as both a site of memory and a record of emotion, where stillness is not a frozen moment but the movement of time that flows and leaves its mark.

Channing Hansen was born in 1972 in Los Angeles, USA. His knitted works tread the line between painting and sculpture with their web-like construction occasionally revealing the stretcher behind.
Their relationship to craft may initially seem to be at odds with the scientific concepts informing the algorithm. However, bringing these two disciplines into dialogue allows Hansen to explore the tension between chaos and order, as the artist’s hand introduces human variability within
an otherwise programmatic composition. This is evident in the forms his textiles evoke, which might resemble tendrils of DNA, crystalline structures, or biomorphic shapes.

Born in 1992, Jieun Choi majored Korean painting at Dongguk University and continued her studies at the National University of Arts in Karlsruhe. Currently, she is pursuing her artistic career in Germany. At the heart of her artistic expression is the creation of abstract images, skillfully capturing the transient and ephemeral qualities of the moment.

Choi seamlessly integrates the soft curves of her subjects with abstract backgrounds, crafting a unique visual narrative that places her characters within a distinctive and captivating realm. Through this, she delves into the intricate and nuanced aspects inherent in the linguistic and subtle nature of the human body. The artist pursues mysterious, intuitive, and sensorial expressions, skillfully capturing the inner narratives and psychological realms of her characters through the intricacies of their gaze and tension.

The artist's creative process navigates the delicate balance between abstraction and concreteness, cycling through phases of creation and destruction. She sculpts her narratives with unexpected forms and situations, elevating the tension and mystery of the characters through moments of anticipation and unwavering pursuit.

Choi endeavors to immerse viewers in an experience of intuition and empathy by infusing her characters' gestures and gazes with profound meaning. In doing so, she cherishes the exploration of boundaries between the unconscious and conscious realms, forging innovative narrative structures. Through this distinctive approach, Choi actively seeks profound engagement with the audience, persistently delving into the dynamic exchange of meaning and emotions within the realm of art.

Sangnam Park has long pursued a practice that traverses painting, installation, and object-making,
tracing the “residues of emotion.” Through repetitive brushwork and layered surfaces on canvas and
found materials, he constructs what may be called the topography of the inner self. His works
balance spontaneous gestures with delicate materiality, creating a visual language where light,
texture, and emotion coexist in harmony.

Tarnia Marmolajo

Tania Marmolejo’s distinctive Caribbean heritage and Scandinavian roots have greatly influenced her approach to creating contemporary art. Tania studied graphic design and illustration in Norway before returning to the Dominican Republic to pursue fine art at the Altos de Chavón School of Design. In 1998, she earned the Bluhdorn Scholarship, allowing her to continue her education at Parsons School of Design in New York, where she graduated with a degree in Fine Art and Illustration in 2000.

Her artistry is a powerful exploration of the human experience, transcending conventional boundaries and redefining the world of figurative art. Through her mesmerizing large-scale paintings, she delves into the complexities of gender, identity, and cultural heritage, drawing from her unique Swedish-Dominican roots. Marmolejo Andersson skillfully weaves a mysterious realm of enigmatic female portraits that elicit deep emotions and empathy in viewers, while simultaneously addressing social issues and promoting women empowerment. Her innovative approach to capturing emotions and conveying powerful narratives through her art has earned her a prominent position in the contemporary figurative art scene.

Her work has also been featured in group exhibitions, such as “You Me Me You”, Nicodim Gallery, (USA, 2022); “Summer Camp”, GR Gallery, (USA, 2021); “Vibraciones Conteporáneas”, Lyle O Reitzel Contemporary Art, (Dominican Republic, 2021) and “CONTEXT”, Art Miami, Lyle O. Tuagomstudio (Born in 1986), known as Pazut Wutigornsombathkul, a visionary Thai artist dedicated to propagating delight and merriment. His passion for art kindled during his early years, ignited by his sister's enchanting sketches. Armed with a degree in interior design, he embarked on a three-year journey in the industry before he resolved to pursue his lifelong dream of birthing his very own cartoon character.

In 2014, Pazut embarked on a creative journey, designing characters that were born from his own imagination. He started by combining geometric shapes, crafting them together until they formed a perfect circle, evoking feelings of cuteness, simplicity, and harmony. This led to the birth of “Tuagomstudio”, a name that would become a wellspring of inspiration for the artist to share positive emotions with those who encountered his creations. It became a small, bright light in the darkest of days for anyone fortunate enough to witness his work.

Pazut is not just an artist but also an ardent photography aficionado, and this passion significantly informs his paintings. Every brushstroke and meticulously selected hue in Tuagom’s realm reflects his photographic perspective. His palette primarily comprises the cheerful shades of yellow and light blue, symbolizing sunshine, hope, laughter, warmth, happiness, and vitality, all designed to elicit spontaneous joy and tell the tale of Pazut’s profound bond with art.

His first solo exhibition, ‘On Cloud Nine,’ opened in 2023 at River City Bangkok. It took the audience on a trip through the friendship and bond between ‘Gommie’, the character of a happy chubby boy, and his dog 'Bingsu', which was warmly welcomed. Then, in 2024, Tuagomstudio showcased his Art toy series ‘I'm a couch potato’ at the Pop Toy Show 2024 in Singapore, where it was highly appreciated by collectors from Singapore and other Asian countries.


Mackerel Safranski (b.1984) has long been interested in the perception of her body, a perspective shaped by her personal experience with a long-term eating disorder. She draws from literature, news, and daily observations to construct the stories and images of the figures in her paintings. Ambiguous objects and fragmented scenes often appear in her work, creating a mysterious, uncanny atmosphere—as if something is on the verge of happening. The narratives within her work, which subtly hint at themes of migration, labor, violence, desire, relationships, and isolation, reflect her interest in exploring the “external body” as something we perceive and respond to within social structures. Recently, Safranski has expanded her practice to include video and installation, focusing on how narratives shift across different media.

In 2008, Safranski was selected for the exhibition Young Korean Artists, an annual exhibition organized by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea, to showcase promising young artists. She has held solo exhibitions at A-Lounge, Seoul (2021); Soma Drawing Center, Seoul (2017); and participated in group exhibitions such as Hexed, Bexed & Sexed, West Den Haag, The Hague (2023); Walkie Talkie Shaking, Art Space Boan, Seoul (2022); One Escape at a Time, the 11th Seoul Mediacity Biennale, Seoul (2021); VIA Animation Festival, Viborg Museum, Viborg (2019); Matters of Women, Seoul National University Museum of Art, Seoul (2018); and An Artist’s Attitude toward Labor, Incheon Art Platform, Incheon (2016).

He is an artist who moves between painting and installation, visually interpreting the remnants of the city and fragments of memory. Using materials such as acrylic, resin, and recycled elements, he explores layers and transformations of texture, creating works that evoke the process of urban walls being repeatedly painted over and peeled away.

Lugosis is a contemporary artist, tattooer, and graffiti writer from Italy, currently based in Berlin. His work is heavily inspired by cartoons and animation from various origins, through which he explores biographical events, social connections, and youth culture.


Ary Kurniawan is a talented acrylic painter known for his vibrant and expressive works on canvas. He began his artistic journey at SMSR (SMKN4) Padang, where he studied from 2007, and further honed his skills at the prestigious Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI Yogyakarta), graduating in 2011.

As an imaginative, reliable, and organized artist, Ary has a profound desire to transform dreams into beautiful creations. His artwork not only showcases his passion for color and form but also serves as effective visual communication that addresses challenges and encourages action. Through his paintings, Ary invites viewers to explore the emotions and stories embedded in each piece, making a meaningful connection with the audience.

Ikumi Nakada is an artist who captures the pure emotions of childhood and inner landscapes through delicate brushstrokes, precise pencil lines, and soft color palettes. Her work often centers on children (or childlike figures), surrounded by spaces and objects rendered in dreamy and nostalgic tones. Drawing from her observations of children’s behavior, her pieces evoke both the innocence of youth and the bittersweet nostalgia of adulthood. Using oil paints and pencils, she meticulously reimagines childhood memories in pastel hues, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in their own past emotions. The children in her artworks often display serene or nonchalant expressions, appearing like remnants of forgotten feelings from adulthood. Born in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, Ikumi Nakada earned a degree in literature and art from Seijo University and later studied illustration at the Vantan Design Institute. Her works have been exhibited in various countries, including Japan, Taiwan, the United States, and China. In 2021, her piece Not Angry was auctioned at Ravenel in Taipei, achieving a final bid of $14,561.


Pollawat Samidee, an artist from Silpakorn University, Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Printmaking. He has re-ceived many awards, such as BEST INDIVIDUAL- MONTMARTRE GOLDEN BRUSH 2017, North Macedonia, and First Prize 20 17 International Art Festivals in Japan Polawat has participated in the group exhibitions Please to meet me (2023).The first solo exhibition with Number1gallery in the exhibition "IDENTITY?" (2023), and the second solo exhibition HABITUS (2024).

The abstract paintings of Hyunjung Park show the process of a response to the new visual world we experience in the twenty-first century. The artist, who majored in Fine Art at Hongik University, has a long history of collecting images of minerals, geological formations, and textures. Since the attitude of collecting and consuming images online influences contemporary art, she is continuously asking concerns about the process of creating arts and she is using graphic technologies to construct the overall layer of her works. By using geometric colour schemes and disciplined brushstrokes, Hyunjung Park creates a new painting universe in which individual objects achieve a tight equilibrium through tension. 

Twenty-one artists were invited to pay homage to Goya: Fernando Arrabal, Miquel Barceló, Beatriz González, Jenny Holzer, Cristina Iglesias, Anne Imhof, Alfredo Jaar, Koo Jeong A, Alexander Kluge, Robert Longo, Cildo Meireles, Precious Okoyomon, Philippe Parreno, Raymond Pettibon, Elena Del Rivero, Rachel Rose, Thomas Schütte, Santiago Sierra, Rosemarie Trockel, Luc Tuymans, and Adrián Villar Rojas.

Sanggyun Lee is an artist who maintains a continuous interest in civil engineering structures through field research, converting three-dimensional architecture and spaces into two-dimensional paintings. Memories of his father, who worked in civil engineering during his childhood, have greatly influenced his work, serving as a crucial link in his art.

The images of structures that appear in his work are abstracted through a process of reduction to a consistent compositional framework. He believes that, among the spaces humans inhabit, the land particularly represents various aspects of humanity. Capturing the longstanding human desire for urbanization and the pursuit of subjectivity and spatiality, he simultaneously embodies the role of an observer, depicting the immobility of civil engineering construction sites. He applies construction tools such as trowels, plastering knives, and ink lines to his paintings, creating them with a constructive attitude.

In 2022, he was selected as an artist-in-residence at the Paris Lee Ungno Residence, where he worked to document his artistic identity and discover the human narratives of previous generations. During this period, he participated in various international exhibitions, expanded his artistic perspective through interactions with artists worldwide, and drew inspiration from the unique culture and historical background of Paris, adding depth to his work. This experience significantly contributed to his artistic growth, which is clearly evident in his subsequent works. Currently, he continues to create new works based on these experiences, pursuing his artistic exploration.

Le Phi Long (b.1988) is a visual artist based in Ho Chi Minh City and Dalat, Vietnam. He
graduated in interior design at Hue Fine Art University in 2012. Long’s practices include paintings,
site-specific art and conceptual objects. His practice is based on the study of the historical and
geographical origins of humans, intervention in the cultural shift and the effects in the community,
especially his generation.
Long feels that his generation lacks knowledge of Vietnamese history. Local materials and teaching
documents about this matter are incomplete, and this has impacted the way his generation identify
themselves, their journey of self-development and the connection to the international community.
Long is eager to search and compare local and international materials to close the knowledge
gap. Since 2016 Long has been focusing on the Dong Duong Lang Du project, which examines
French Indochina archives (late 19th and early 20th centuries) to explain the concern in the issue
of generation transmission in Vietnam.
Long co-founded the artist residency eNAME Art Center in Hanoi (2012) and MOIland, an art
center in Dalat (2017). He took part in residencies at Sàn Art in Vietnam (2013), the Bamboo
Curtain Studio in Taiwan (2015), Asian Highway Project in Korea (2018) and the Cité
Internationale des Arts in Paris (2020). Phi Long has exhibited and taken part in programs in the
UK, USA, Belgium, Portugal, France, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
