Park Mira observes emotions, exploring where they originate and what factors contribute to their
formation. While acknowledging that emotions are largely personal and subjective, she is interested in how emotions can be construed and interpreted within the context of society. She primarily works with black materials to carve out images and narratives that emerge in the space between consciousness and the unconscious.
She stages uncomfortable and discordant situations at the boundary between reality and the imaginary, exploring narrative structures that unfold simultaneously within the frame. She seeks to connect spaces, stories, consciousness, the unconscious, the virtual, and the real, using mediums such as drawing, animation, instalation, and painting.
Park Mira has held solo exhibitions including 《Pairing》 (2023, SeMA STORAGE), 《Interlude》 (2022, Art Space Boan 2), 《Walk In The Dark" (2020, A-Lounge), and 《The Waves at Night》 (2019, Gyeonggi
Museum of Modern Art Project Galery). In 2023, Park Mira was honored with the “Chongkundang Yesuljisang” and recognized as a “SeMA Emerging Artists &Curators” Park Mira is currently participating in a residency program at the Suwon Art Studio after completing residencies at the Gyeonggi Creation Center in Residency Program and the Cheong-ju Art Studio.

Nam Kim (b.1991) is an American-born Korean artist living and working in Vienna. Nam attended Ewha Womens University in Seoul from 2010 to 2015 and earned her Bachelor degree of fine arts (painting) and art history. Between 2017 and 2023 she studied with Professor Kirsi Mikkola and Alastair Mackinveb in Academy of fine arts Vienna.
Nam Kim mainly use painting for her artistic practice. Nam’s painting is about self-reflection, a process of learning about oneself. She attempts to understand and examine what the essence and the core of humanity are, focusing on capturing psychological fragments that occur in human relationships.

Morae Shin is a contemporary artist renowned for her dreamy yet sensuous artistic world. Her works often employ pink tones and neon lighting, creating a unique atmosphere that blends vivid colors with expressionless figures. Through these figures, she conveys emotions such as solitude and emptiness, inviting viewers to interpret and confront the feelings embedded within her art from their own perspectives.

Since beginning her career in 2013, She has expanded her creative endeavors across various mediums, including digital illustration, painting, and video art. She regards her work as a "diary," capturing elements closest to her heart. This approach allows her to infuse her creations with her distinctive sensibility and personal narratives.

Zelalem Merga, a visionary artist hailing from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is known for his profound connection to emotions and the natural world. Born in 1989, he earned his BFA from Addis Ababa University Alle School of Fine Arts and Design (Graphics Department) in 2013, and currently resides in the vibrant Ethiopian capital.
Driven by passion and an unwavering commitment to innovation, Zelalem transforms discarded materials into mesmerizing works of art. His creative process is fueled by an innate desire to elevate the ordinary, encouraging viewers to reconsider the value of everyday objects and contemplate their own consumption habits.
In Zelalem's artwork, there is an underlying sense of disquiet, reflecting the complexities of the modern world in which we live. Through his masterful use of recycled materials, he constructs captivating portraits that challenge the status quo and leave a lasting impression on the art world. Ian Ha (b.1997)aims to explore various possibilities of spatial illusions on flat surfaces by irregularly editing various materials and arbitrary subjects. Everyday objects, commonly seen in Ian Ha’s work, are dissected and rearranged by the artist, blurring the boundaries between painting and reality, while posing questions about the reality itself. This reflects the artist’s attempt to reproduce the contemporary phenomenon of desensitization to the flood of random information and images that are often not easy to filter or control, and also reflects the artist’s contemplation on how two dimensional art can be convinced in a technologically advanced society where the gap between virtual space and reality is gradually narrowing.
Ian Ha has B.F.A. in Seoul National University and is a candidate for M.F.A. in Columbia University School of Visual Arts. His solo exhibitions include Shifts and Echoes, Fragment Gallery, New York (2023); The Uncanny, Rabbit and Tiger Gallery, Seoul (2022). The artist also participated in group exhibitions such as in media res, The Blanc Gallery, New York (2023); Standouts, Fredric Snitzer Gallery, Miami (2023); Trajectory of Time, Space U, Bundang (2022).

Antony Micallef (b. 1975, Swindon, UK) is a British contemporary artist working in London. He was notably taught by the austere landscape painter John Virtue, who was taught by the postwar painter Frank Auerbach.
Described as a modern expressionist, Micallef roots his work in social commentary and self-examination. Known for his visually charged figure paintings, he uses oil paint in a groundbreaking way; he is able to literally sculpt and form the paint to reconfigure the parameters of what an oil
painting can be. Combined with his impasto and layering techniques, the oil paint is pushed to its extreme and blurs our reading of painting and sculpture.
Micallef’s recent paintings are created using these unique methods where the oil is changed into a material to realise a new form of physical embodiment.

Fairuz Paisan (b. 1981, Malaysia), affectionately known as Po Oi in the Malaysian art scene, graduated with a Master’s degree in Fine Art and Technology from Mara University of Technology in 2014. Actively participating in numerous projects and exhibiting in seminal art exhibitions, Po Oi has gained recognition as an innovative voice in contemporary Malaysian sculpture. His work uniquely explores the organic form of the circle through materials such as wood and fiberglass, combining traditional craftsmanship with a modern Art Deco sensibility.

Through his dedication, Po Oi delves into the hidden complexities of the circular shape, which he sees as a pathway to uncovering deeper simplicity. His sculptures, from wall-mounted pieces to free-standing forms, are carefully constructed, blending fiberglass—symbolic of external beauty—and wood—to represent the underlying essence within. This approach invites viewers to reflect on the contrast between appearance and inner reality, leading them to a quiet, almost sacred center within each piece.

Not only are his pieces celebrated for their technical skill and elegant form, but they also reflect a subtle interplay with pop culture, capturing elements of movement and fluidity. Po Oi’s work is exhibited widely in Malaysia and has garnered acclaim in regional art fairs and galleries. Through his artistic exploration, Po Oi continues to enrich Malaysia's contemporary art scene, inspiring new perspectives on form, depth, and beauty in sculpture.

Daniel Lergon (b.1978, Bonn) is a German artist who experiments with Jight effects and chemical reactions, exploring optics and perception. He began his inquiries into color, the interaction of Jight on different surfaces and optical effects. Lergon has been working with fabrics of different optical and physical qualities, to which he applies lacquers and transparent varnishes to produce a broad range of effects that vary with the position of the viewer. In his early works, Lergon used color pigments within the range of the color spectrum, applying them to all kinds of material surfaces. In later work, while using transparent varnishes and synthetic, retro reflective fabric as painting surface {which reflects the light in the same direction from which it comes), he also includes colors at the very extremes of the spectrum into his work. His intensive study of the colors was thus always tied to the materiality of the painting's ground and the question regarding this influence this would have on the viewer's perception.

Mitsuyo Okada is a Japanese-born, Brooklyn-based painter whose atmospheric works capture the emotional essence of nature through soft, lyrical depictions of light, plants, and seasonal memories.

Influenced by anime and manga culture during boyhood. In 2017, he started working as an illustrator based in Fukuoka. He creates and presents his works in digital and analog formats. The female with characteristic ennui expressions are a projection of the artist's own inner self.

Anouk Lamm Anouk is ar=s=c prac=ce spans pain=ng, drawing, sculpture, installa=on, and wri=ng. Their manifesto claims: “No Age, No Gender, No Origin”, or as they say: “I am no one I am nothing” which could be a reference to their embedment in Zen Buddhism. Anouk iden=fies as trans-non-binary and by virtue of this and living as a Person with au=sm, it is crucial to them to rid themselves of the external a`ribu=ons and labels that come from norma=ve society in order both to see and encounter others without the violence of classifica=on and an=cipa=on, to be truly open.
The star=ng point of their pain=ngs is the raw linen, the canvases itself is crucial. The unprimed frontside of the linen is a living part of their works and becomes a connec=ng visual element across several series. Their colour pale`e is strictly limited, most oDen to earthy colours, hues of black and off-white are also present; reduc=on is key. Anouk works both in series and independently of series – some pain=ngs are solely abstract, while others are predominantly figura=ve – all of which is connected by unique handwri=ng and gestural strokes. Text or text fragments are also part of their prac=ces. The texts are inten=onally unobtrusive, some=mes they require viewers to look for them. These give a hint or raise ques=ons.
In their work, Anouk returns to certain mo=fs, beings, and rhythms, which they unite together into a singular, holis=c cosmos, with the aim of conjuring peaceful spaces for contempla=on with a strong undercurrent of desire. This can be seen in their mostly figura=ve representa=ons in the “Lesbian Jazz” series, which features abstract symbols and mo=fs embedded next to naked bodies. The bodies on the canvas are oDen female or non-binary, some=mes sexless, and always anonymous. Faces or facial expressions are rare and usually leD out, because “Lesbian Jazz” portrays above all iden=ty, a lifestyle, a community, and not individualised portraits. Their ar=s=c prac=ce emerges from the urgent need for queer visibility in a world rife with discrimina=on, and their pain=ngs explore the visual languages of fluid iden=ty and body as they are coded and re-coded within society.

Park Younghwan has sustained a painting practice grounded in the tradition of East Asian landscape painting, combining imagination with architectural composition. Through variations of ink on hanji including cheongmeok (bluish ink) and dameok (dense, fully-loaded ink) he lends subtle chromatic strata to black-and-white surfaces, juxtaposing nature and geometric form, figures and symbols, within a single scene. Perfect black spheres, Western buildings in modern styles, tangled stands of trees, and figures recalled from memory all find their place on the picture plane, where a fictive order and the artist’s personal temporality are realised simultaneously within the landscape.
The sphere (gu), the artist’s basic unit, appears as the most emblematic object in the work, distributed across the surface in differing sizes and gradations of ink as though tracing the arc of elapsed time. It becomes, at once, the artist himself present in the many times and spaces of a life’s journey and the record of a process moving toward the most ideal form of living to which he aspires.

Lugosis is a contemporary artist, tattooer, and graffiti writer from Italy, currently based in Berlin. His work is heavily inspired by cartoons and animation from various origins, through which he explores biographical events, social connections, and youth culture.

Jonghwan Jin is currently living and working in Seoul, South Korea, where his work is based on painting. He continues to think about the possibilities of expression within the category of painting. He develops abstractions of the invisible but slowly changing landscapes, such as the temperature, humidity, and wind direction felt when welcoming a new season. By implicitly expressing the forms of sensation that exist beyond the visible visual image, he is searching for his painting style.

Abdoulaye Diarrassouba, known as Aboudia, chronicles the street scene in his city of Abidjan, the capital of Côte d’Ivoire. In his vibrant, large-scale mixed-media paintings and drawings, which recall those of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Aboudia takes inspiration from the aesthetics of graffiti and traditional African carvings. He has depicted youths in his city’s toughest neighborhoods and the violent post-election conflict that ravaged Abidjan in 2011. While his recurring skull, soldier, and bullet motifs speak to unthinkable trauma and brutality, Aboudia’s bright color palettes reinforce the enduring innocence of the children who live amid the chaos. Aboudia has exhibited widely across Côte d’Ivoire and in London, Paris, New York, and Marrakesh, among other cities. His work has been acquired by Saatchi Gallery, the Jean Pigozzi Collection of African Art, and the Nevada Museum of Art, and on the secondary market, it has sold for six figures.

Jean-Michel Othoniel, a prominent contemporary French artist, is renowned for his works spanning various mediums including installation, photography, and sculpture. Drawing continuous inspiration from diverse encounters and cultural experiences since the late 1980s, he blends these influences with his personal experiences. Othoniel is particularly acclaimed for his unique approach using glass as his primary material, employing a spectrum of colors, sizes, transparency, and shimmer to explore themes of human existence, concepts, and the essence of life. His luminous glass beads, coexisting with imperfections from the handcrafting process, reflect the fragile nature of glass, symbolizing hope for all to overcome life's challenges and pain.

Othoniel gained international recognition as an invited artist at the 9th Documenta in Kassel in 1992 and furthered his reputation with a major project commemorating the centenary of the Paris Metro in 2000. His recent achievements include permanent inclusion of his painting series by the Louvre in 2019 and receiving France's highest honor, the Légion d’honneur, for his contribution to cultural development. His works are housed in numerous renowned collections such as the Centre Pompidou, Fondation Cartier pour l'Art Contemporain, and the Louvre Museum Paris; Museum of Modern Art and New York Public Library, New York; Boghossian Foundation, Brussels; Leeum Samsung Museum of Art, Seoul; Budi Tek-Yuz Museum, Shanghai; and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice.
