Starting from the concept of Jadis, the French word for “long ago,” the work explores the flow of time and the layers of memory. It begins with emotions and stories left behind in the past, as well as reflections on what has disappeared. The past and the present are not seen as separate, but as overlapping layers that coexist, and this structure of time and memory is translated into painting. The work ultimately becomes a process of reflecting on how past time and experience continue to connect with the present.
