Ary Kurniawan is a talented acrylic painter known for his vibrant and expressive works on canvas. He began his artistic journey at SMSR (SMKN4) Padang, where he studied from 2007, and further honed his skills at the prestigious Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI Yogyakarta), graduating in 2011. As an imaginative, reliable, and organized artist, Ary has a profound desire to transform dreams into beautiful creations. His artwork not only showcases his passion for color and form but also serves as effective visual communication that addresses challenges and encourages action. Through his paintings, Ary invites viewers to explore the emotions and stories embedded in each piece, making a meaningful connection with the audience.

Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vin Gallery has established an active presence in art fairs across Asia by promoting cross-cultural hybridization. We aim to bring artists with critical practices to HCMC to share their work with the local art scene while simultaneously striving to discover and promote promising South East Asia artists to the international art scene. Our artists come from diverse cultural backgrounds and art educations, work with various mediums and have a spectrum of life experiences. They have strong conceptual and challenging visions, materialized in continually evolving forms which we try to foster by creating networks and collaborations with other art spaces in Asia and beyond.
