MAMABLUES builds her own universe through artworks filled with ambiguity, mystery, and emotional depth. Working mostly in grayscale, she uses light, proportion, and expressive line work to explore identity and human complexity. She values experimentation and adapts her techniques according to each concept, creating a practice that evolves over time while maintaining a clear, consistent artistic voice. This work deeply embodies the emotion of waiting. It depicts a human figure gently resting upon a lower section that evokes the image of a nest, while behind the figure appears a black bird that is not merely a bird, but a kind of spiritualpresence accompanying the person. Elements that coil around the figure’s feet suggesting both the act of sitting and the sense of being bound invite multiple interpretations, allowing the viewer to imagine the emotional layers and meanings of waiting from different perspectives.
