Grems or Michaël Eveno born in 1978 in Paris, now based in Biarritz, France. A complete artist with an overflowing energy, Grems is this kind of unstoppable artist that will always push the boundaries til the end. His two main creative tendencies, art and music, developed alongside one another, are teasing and forcing each other to more energetic production in order to always create something unexpected while keeping his well known and unique style.


Eun-Ha Paek is a Seoul-born artist who earned her BFA in Film/Animation/Video from the Rhode Island School of Design. Since then, she has been actively engaged in the fields of animation and visual arts. Her work has been showcased at prestigious venues, including the Guggenheim Museum and the Sundance Film Festival, gaining international recognition. Paek's animated films have captivated audiences with their sensory expression and unique narratives, earning praise in media outlets such as The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, and G4 Tech TV.

In her work, Paek explores the intersection of humor, grief, and hope, creating pieces that evoke deep emotional resonance. She dismantles the boundaries between the familiar and the strange, using everyday moments to express fundamental human emotions. Paek has also participated in numerous residencies, including at Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park, Sundaymorning@ekwc, and Center for Contemporary Ceramics, where she continues to push creative boundaries across various mediums.

Jaehyuk Han creates new forms of painting by transforming traditional Eastern materials like Hanji and Hwasunji into his unique visual language. His work deconstructs and reconfigures familiar elements, generating unfamiliar images that provoke deep reflection. Through this process of transformation, Han invites dialogue with the inner self, opening pathways to new possibilities and creative potential.

ROKKANKIM is a South Korea–based artist who presents works across a range of genres, primarily producing media works through collage and video compositing techniques.

Drawing inspiration from the social and cultural phenomena of the 1960s and 1970s, the artist combines these references with personal experiences to create surreal visual narratives. ROKKANKIM is particularly interested in duality—the coexistence of opposing qualities such as good and evil, positivity and negativity. His work invites viewers to experience each piece in their own way, much like how a single event or phenomenon can be interpreted differently depending on individual perspective.

His representative series include Space Oddity, which explores the dual nature of astronauts’ lives alongside the beauty and fear of outer space, and Sea the Wall, which examines the layered and often conflicting relationships between the sea, architecture, and humanity.

JEJn usually attempts to depict incomplete human nature through paintings. People today reject their underlying sentiments of fear, incompleteness, and weakness to naturally avoid them. However, the fragmentary phenomena that result from these emotions are also believed to be part of human nature, and the artist interprets and conveys these inconvenience things through his individual sense of humour and cartooning technique. He asks the audience what would happen if the heaviness and hardness of the facts that people are confronting were presented to them as a hilarious black comedy. 

Darren Bader (b. 1978, Bridgeport, CT) studied filmmaking and art history at NYU (BFA, 2000). He lives and works in New York and in transit. Bader’s conceptual hobbyhorses include: word works, pairings, impossible sculpture, misattribution, object fetishism, and trash sculptures. His exhibitions are often collaborative in nature, exploring and questioning the interconnectedness of seemingly disparate objects through complex (re)arrangements, surprise juxtapositions, and absurd associations. Jin Han investigates and depicts incidents related to universal feelings of sadness and anxiety. She is currently studying visual arts at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, she actively exhibits his work to the public. The artist analyses emotions such as melancholy and an inherent sense of isolation, beginning with a sensation of anxiousness based on fragments of autobiographical recollections. The artist creates a distinctive sense of self-using thin, overlapping, and dripping brushstrokes to 'bring out' the memories and feelings onto the canvas. Through her art, she offers contemporary audiences a message of shared experience, empathy, and healing.

Alex Cho observes the subtle moments of mistranslations in his works. For him, these mistranslations are akin to off-pitch harmony or miscommunication that somehow makes sense. Information seems to overpower reality, appearing as translated or compressed surfaces. Amidst the current state of information overload, the artist seeks out gaps and errors that feel awkward. Using floaty drawing elements and a loose, painterly expression, the artist aims to react to and reassemble encountered information and events, creating new possibilities. The artist hopes to capture moments of awkwardness in these ambiguous spaces. His works resemble anti-humor jokes or awkward silences. The desire to go beyond information and drifting thoughts emerges on the surface of canvases as mistranslations, even if only superficially.

AhHyeon Lee materializes the unreal world created from the perspective of insects into physical space. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Painting from Kyung Hee University, she continued a master's degree in Painting at a graduate institution. She has communicated with the public through her works with shifting gaze and dreamlike colours that transcend the two-dimensional and three-dimensional since her graduation. The artist began her work by considering the invisible or unrecognized vision in today's visual environment and raises the issue of the incompleteness of 'seeing' as we perceive its contents. She eliminates the human subject and creates a symbolic representation of the insect's gaze through painting, crossing the tension that results from the world of insects being repeatedly created and destroyed by others, as well as the feelings of disgust and dread of insects from a human perspective. In her investigation of insect traces, she examined and experimented with the physical characteristics of mediums and invited viewers to enter an imaginary environment.

Mio Yamato (b. 1990, Japan) was born in Shiga, Japan, in 1990 and is currently based in Kyoto. She earned her MFA from Kyoto University of Art and Design. Yamato has participated in numerous exhibitions and projects, primarily in Japan, and has recently participated in an artist residency program at Casa Wabi in Mexico. She also had her solo show in Connecticut, USA. Her works have been acquired by museums in Japan, marking her as one of the promising emerging artists to watch. In the early stages of her career, Yamato developed the DOT and LINE series, focusing on the project composed of simple and minimal elements such as dots and lines. Her works reflect themes of life itself, drawing inspiration from the behavior of cells, the accumulation of geological layers, and the growth rings of trees.

PARK Wunggyu (b. 1987) has consistently presented works that explore the painterly possibilities of Oriental art by creating a symbolic order of positive and negative through subjects that evoke ambivalent emotions.  He specialized in Oriental painting, captures images on canvas that evoke ambivalent characteristics, based on his artistic responses to classical Buddhist paintings from Korea and Japan. Particularly, he refers to the 'Hwayukbeop' (畵六法, Six Principles of Painting) of Oriental painting, constituted by imitation, composition, form, texture, transformation, and application. Drawing on these principles, he incorporates into his artwork ambiguous emotions and sensations provoked by 'negativity', such as negative things, situations, and emotions. The series "Dummy” that began in 2015 initially depicted forms of monsters and gods without a specific subject. However, starting from 2019, it began to adopt realistic forms by borrowing from various insects like moths and cicadas, as well as from grotesque creatures. In the new 2023 work, a set of ten pieces titled Dummy No. 91~100 (2023) was introduced, showcasing the unique formative aspects seen from different parts of a cow's internal organs, magnifying and describing them in detail. Additionally, inspired by the Zen painting 'Sibu do' (十牛圖, Ten Ox-Herding Pictures) that characterizes human nature in 10 stages, the artist presented a work named The Ten Oxherding Pictures (2023), concentrating the process of eating, digesting, and excreting a cow in 10 frames. Another piece, Scar No.17 (2023), interpreted the ten types of a cow's internal organs using Chinese characters, was also displayed alongside the aforementioned works.




PARK Wunggyu was born in Seoul, Korea, in 1987. He received his BFA in Korean painting at Chugye University for the Arts in 2010, and MFA in Korean painting at Chugye University for the Arts in 2015. PARK Wunggyu began his active career as a resident artist at the Cheongju Art Studio from 2016. He has held solo exhibitions at various institutions such as ARARIO GALLERY SEOUL (Seoul, Korea, 2023), Art Space Boan1(Seoul, Korea, 2022), Onground2 (Seoul, Korea, 2018), and Space Kneet (Seoul, Korea, 2017), Cheongju Art Studio (Cheongju, Korea, 2016), as well as group exhibitions held at Ilmin Museum of Art (Seoul, Korea, 2023), Seoul Museum of  Art (Seoul, Korea, 2022), Danwon Art Museum (Ansan, Korea, 2021), Art Sonje Center (Seoul, Korea, 2021), Aram Art Museum (Goyang, Korea, 2019), and more.

Xiyao received her Bachelor of Arts from Sichuan Fine Art Institute in China in 2014, and both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Fine Arts from the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg (2018, 2020).
 
The Berlin-based Chinese artist creates large-scale, immersive paintings in which gestural lines evoke echoes of landscapes, bodies, movements, thoughts. In the process, she develops a kind of hybrid abstract painting that combines various influences and inspirations: Taoism and post-structuralism, ancient Chinese pictorial traditions, bodywork, dance, martial arts, and the canon of Western art history. Xiyao Wang’s paintings explore inner visions, bodily perceptions, sensations, feelings, interrogating her East-West biography.

Through meticulously balanced images that encourage prolonged attention, Sugimoto’s work focuses audience consideration on the ways in which humanity makes sense of itself. Sugimoto moved to Los Angeles in 1971, receiving his BFA from the Art Center College of Design in 1972. In 1974, he moved to New York, and became involved in the Minimal and Conceptual art scenes of the late 1970s. His best-known series, including Dioramas, Theaters, Seascapes, Portraits, Architecture, Conceptual Forms, and Lightning Fields draw heavily upon repetition, unifying disparate locations through shared compositions, and are characterized by use of long exposures, black and white film, and analog processes. In recent years, Sugimoto has begun to design architectural spaces that, like his photographs, use simplicity of form to focus attention on the mechanisms through which we understand the world.  

Sugimoto has had solo exhibitions at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Osaka (1989), the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles (1994), San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (2000), the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin (2008), among many other venues. He has received many honors, including the Praemium Imperiale Award for Painting, Tokyo in 2009 and Officier de L’ordre des Arts et des Lettres, in Paris in 2013. In 2017, he was honored as a Person of Cultural Merit in Tokyo. His photographs are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Museum of Modern Art, New York; National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Tate Gallery, London; and many others.

SeNa Hwang expresses emotions of loss and anxiety through a symbolic figure—a child with empty eyes. The vacant pupils and sharp whites of the eyes imply complex inner emotions and the possibilities that lie beyond. To articulate and clearly convey these feelings, the artist employs the simple contrast of black and white through the medium of charcoal. The process of drawing and smudging charcoal lines repeatedly resembles the human journey of experiencing wounds, healing, and self-discovery. The work begins as an outlet for suppressed emotions and gradually expands into an exploration of self-understanding and acceptance. The light and shadow within SeNa Hwang's compositions transcend mere visual elements, offering an experience of self-awareness and deep introspection. This reflects the artist's attitude of caring for and healing oneself through affection for others. Her works convey more than visual beauty, inviting viewers to share in the journey of self-discovery and growth amid loss and anxiety.


Xian Kim (b. 1992) graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Printmaking from the Academy of Arts & Design at Tsinghua University, China, and subsequently completed her Master's at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, also in China, specializing in Printmaking. Kim reimagines familiar biological forms and objects with a texture akin to plastic, focusing solely on their essence by stripping away all non-essential elements commonly encountered in everyday life. The still life compositions of re-envisioned objects and organisms exude an absence of warmth, yet they remain objective, simple, and sometimes brutally honest. Through her works, everything within the canvas exists in an ideal state of non-existence, free from the complexities of reality—conceptual layers are removed, creating a unique utopia exclusive to Xian Kim.

REACH, born in 1981 and based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, began his graffiti journey in 1995. He founded SOUL SKOOL, the first graffiti crew in Taiwan, and has worked with numerous internationally renowned brands. Early in his career, he actively participated in artist residencies and international art festivals in the US, Canada, France, Australia, the Netherlands, Japan, China and more. 


The artist's work invites us to pause from our busy lives and direct our attention to the whispers within our hearts. This is likely because her work, even though it is full of the small and ordinary things of life, evokes a dreamy and free-spirited feeling reminiscent of childhood memories filled with all sorts of imaginations. Furthermore, the clumsy and unadorned appearance, reminiscent of a child's, also captures attention. These rough but heartfelt feelings seem to make the entire work soft and warm. The screen is full of childlike freedom, unspoiled purity, and honesty. Tarntara earned her bachelor's degree in painting, sculpture, and graphic arts from Silpakorn University in 2014. Her art is stylized in a pop-surrealist style and presented with oil painting techniques. The softness of her brush strokes is a standout feature of her work, demonstrating high-level painting abilities. Her artwork is frequently influenced by her own intense emotions, childhood memories, dreams, and surreal fantasies. Tarntara is captivated by women's unique beauty, as well as Eastern culture and ideology expressed in a contemporary style.


Volo observes the efforts of everyone living through anxiety and translates it into art by depicting their attempts at self-reliance. She represents the feeling of anxiety through abstract images focused on texture, then reinterprets these images by freely cutting and pasting them to attempt "finding balance." The use of techniques such as cutting, pasting, and stacking, which are borrowed from play, reflects her approach to anxiety: not being consumed by its negative aspects, but rather viewing it positively and utilizing it playfully. The paintings and sculptures, even if the pieces do not fit perfectly, form towers or arches that symbolize various forms of self-reliance, while also representing the multiple relationships that involve interacting and creating solidarity with others. Her major exhibitions include <CRAFT+MAN=SHIP> (2024, Seoulbattleship), <Which Working, Nowadays>(2023, CDA), and <Finding Language> (2022, Gallery Bincan). She participated in the short residency program "Asura Hwalhwalta" organized by the Youth Village in Haenam, Jeollanam-do, and her recent work focuses on the paradoxical imagery of beauty and pain coexisting, as well as the cognitive processes of human beings.

During this time he worked under filmmakers Paul Sharits and Hollis Frampton who introduced him to structural filmmaking and Sergei Eisenstein’s films. In 1974, while at Buffalo, he co-founded, with Charles Clough, the exhibition space Hallwalls, organizing shows with Vito Acconci, John Baldessari, Lynda Benglis, Robert Irwin, Joan Jonas, Bruce Nauman, and Richard Serra, and establishing relationships that proved seminal to his development. It was at this time that his life-long friendship with Cindy Sherman began. Longo is best known for Men in the Cities, his critically acclaimed, larger-than-life, photorealistic drawings of contorted figures, done from 1977 to 1983. Using charcoal, graphite and ink, this monochrome series depicting the reactive movements of businessmen and women in static suspension became icons of 1980s art. Longo has had retrospective exhibitions at the Hamburger Kunstverein, the Menil Collection in Houston and the Isetan Museum of Art in Tokyo, and his work has been exhibited in the Whitney Museum Biennial in New York, documenta in Kassel and the Venice Biennial, among others. He is represented in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, the British Museum, London; the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; the Guggenheim Museum, NY; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, CA; the Menil Collection, Houston, the Museum of Modern Art, NY; the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, the Tate Gallery, London, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, NY among many others. Danh Vo examines how cultural values, conflicts and traumas are constructed and inherited through work inspired both by his own experiences as well as historical and political events. When he was a child, Vo’s family fled Vietnam and settled in Denmark. His family’s assimilation to European culture and the political events that precipitated their flight from Vietnam are intertwined in his artistic practice; Vo’s work illuminates the interwoven strands of private experience and collective history that shape our sense of self. Using both historically rich readymade objects and personal details that directly and indirectly touch on his own life experiences, Vo examines the larger implications how meaning changes with context, as well as how objects accumulate symbolic weight.
