Greg Haberny is an American artist and filmmaker based in New York. Haberny's artist residencies include The Fountainhead Residency and McColl Center for Art + Innovation. In 2016, Haberny held an exhibition called 'Py•r•o·glyph•s' at the Catinca Tabacaru Gallery in New York. His works for this exhibition were based on the process of burning his old artworks and creating new ones from the ashes.

Ary Kurniawan is a talented acrylic painter known for his vibrant and expressive works on canvas. He began his artistic journey at SMSR (SMKN4) Padang, where he studied from 2007, and further honed his skills at the prestigious Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI Yogyakarta), graduating in 2011.

As an imaginative, reliable, and organized artist, Ary has a profound desire to transform dreams into beautiful creations. His artwork not only showcases his passion for color and form but also serves as effective visual communication that addresses challenges and encourages action. Kim Yunsoo creates her own works by drawing invisible things with scattered things, making lumps with flowing things, building up layers of time. She graduated from the Department of Sculpture at Chung-Ang University and the same graduate school. Her solo exhibitions were held at Gallery SoSo(2021), (2017), (2011), Alter Ego / Sutome(2015), Project Space SARUBIA(2008). She also participated in group exhibitions at Datz Museum of Art(2020), Museum of Contemporary Art Busan(2020), Cheonju Museum of Art(2019), Nam Seoul Museum of Art(2018), OCI Museum of Art(2016), and the Museum SAN(2016). Kim Yunsoo participated in residencies at SeMA Nanji Residency(2006-2007), MMCA residency Goyang(2008-2009), and Art Center White Block(2014-2015). Her artworks are housed in the Seoul Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art Busan, the Art Bank(the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art), OCI Museum of Art, and the Datz Museum of Art. Kim Yunsoo won the 22nd Woomin Art Award in 2023 and is preparing for a solo exhibition at Woomin Art Sensor in 2024.

Chris Measor, born in Ottawa, Canada in 1984, graduated from the Musashino Art University in Japan. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions both domestically and internationally, including two solo exhibitions in Thailand and South Korea. Based in Busan, he continues his artistic endeavors and is an artist whose international career is highly anticipated.
Chris Measor expresses various themes in his work, including European mythology, satire, philosophy, history, politics, and film, by anthropomorphizing animal characters. The animal figures in his works, such as cats, dogs, and rabbits, serve as engaging mediums that attract the audience's interest and guide them through the narrative. By using animals as motifs, the artist avoids potential biases that might arise from depicting human characters, where aspects like race, class, and age could distort the essential meaning he intends to convey. He aims for viewers to immerse themselves in the storytelling without preconceived notions. The artist encourages a reflection on the everyday characters that might be overlooked and hopes that each character in his works represents the protagonists of life, inviting the audience to explore their diverse stories. He creates a layered base on wooden panels using gesso and sanding techniques, applying acrylic gouache and acrylic ink to achieve depth and detail in his artwork.

River City Bangkok, in collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico in Thailand, presents “Unportraited”, a solo exhibition by the renowned Mexican artist Diego Rodarte. Known for his experimental and boundary-pushing painting practice, Rodarte brings to Bangkok a provocative new body of work that reimagines portraiture for the contemporary gaze.

While painting, LIM Nosik’s (b. 1989) body is embedded in everyday scenes. However, the psychological distance from which he looks at it is either closer or further than ordinary days. The subject of his recent work is a question about how to sense landscapes. It focuses on the individual's response to it as much as on the characteristics of the physical properties of a place. The Workroom (2023) is a series of paintings of the studio desk viewed from different times and directions, almost life-sized. The foggy, blurred screen depicts the appearance of weathered memories over time. It is an attempt to capture the world vibrating in the distance of time and space by visualizing the layer of air placed between the landscape, canvas, and himself.




LIM Nosik was born in Seoul, Korea, in 1989. He received his BFA in Oriental Painting at Hongik University in 2015, and MFA in Fine Arts, School of Visual Arts at Korea National University of Arts in 2017. He has held solo exhibitions at various institutions such as Kumho Museum of Art (Seoul, Korea, 2023), Project Space SARUBIA (Seoul, Korea, 2023), Window Gallery, Incheon Art Platform (Incheon, Korea, 2020), Artspace Boan 2 (Seoul, Korea, 2020) and Hapjungjigu (Seoul, Korea, 2017), as well as group exhibitions held at ARARIOGALLERY SEOUL (Seoul, Korea, 2024), SongEun (Seoul, Korea, 2023), Ilmin Museum of Art (Seoul, Korea, 2023), Art Center White Block (Seoul, Korea, 2022), SFAC Seoul Art Space Geumcheon (Seoul, Korea, 2021), Amado Art Space (Seoul, Korea, 2020), and more. The artist gained attention for being selected in the Kumho Museum of Art and Kumho Young Artist 2022. He was the artist-in-residence at the SeMA Nanji Residency (Seoul, Korea) in 2019, and also was the artist-in-residence at the SFAC Seoul Art Space Geumcheon (Seoul, Korea) in 2021. His works are collected by institutions such as the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art’s Art Bank, Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art, Ilmin Museum of Art, and more.

Sculptor, performer, photographer, architect, curator and blogger, he is known internationally for his provocative and political art. He is an opposition figure to the Chinese government and an emblem of freedom of expression in China, openly criticizing the Chinese government’s position on democracy and human rights. Ai was among the first generation of students to study abroad following China’s reform in 1980, and lived in the United States from 1981 to 1993, attending the Arts Students League of New York, the University of Pennsylvania and the University of California, Berkeley.

Jo Heejin explores structures of relation and harmony through the repetition and variation of the circle. By joining together small, thin ceramic discs one by one, the artist visualises how each unit’s particular grain and thickness accumulate into an ordered and harmonious whole.
These circular clay elements shift subtly with fingertip pressure and the material’s response; gathered together, those differences produce a surface that seems to breathe like a living organism, forming an organic structure. In Jo’s work, circular repetition is not a mere replication of form but an act that forges relationships by accommodating the other.
At every seam where they meet, a warmth is conveyed—as if the surfaces hold and draw one another in. For Jo, the circle as a “unit” is both an independent entity and the minimal language of coexistence, embracing difference to form a shared landscape.

YeonJae Chung(b. 1992) explores contrast as the central concept of her practice. As both a painter and a graphic designer, and having spent her childhood moving between the United States and South Korea, she developed a sensibility shaped by differing cultures and languages. She focuses on the tension and balance created by opposing elements such as horizontal and vertical, light and shadow, clarity and blur. Contrast functions in her work as both a visual device that evokes emotion and a framework through which objects are perceived and judged. Observing the points where logical and illogical elements intersect, she reconstructs everyday phenomena into abstract forms. By examining the gaps and relationships that arise from the combination of disparate elements, her practice expands across painting, objects, and furniture.

Jihye, born in Seoul in 1993, is an artist who uses photography, videography, and writing to capture the essence of everyday life. Her fascination with her surroundings began at a young age when her father gifted her a camera. Her passion for recording the beauty of mundane moments has only grown stronger over time. Jihye's art is a reflection of her belief in the power of capturing and preserving moments that are often overlooked. Through her lens, she finds joy in revealing the beauty of the everyday world, from the landscapes that she encounters to the people she meets. Her work serves as a reminder that it's often the small, seemingly insignificant details that make life worth living. Jihye's art is deeply personal, yet it speaks to universal truths that connect us all. Through her art, she hopes to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of everyday life and to find joy in the moments that might otherwise be forgotten.

08AM’s Survival Report does not approach survival as a matter of experience, but understands it as a formal and structural movement through which existence sustains itself within the world. Through lines, planes, and their arrangement, the artist explores how forms are adjusted, reconfigured, and secured for continuity, presenting the canvas not as a finished image but as a structural process for contemplating duration.
Rather than reproducing a specific narrative or evoking particular sensations, Survival Report focuses on visualizing the operational principles of the forms that existence selects in order to preserve itself. The work reveals these operations almost as a diagram, functioning as a philosophical model that invites viewers to reconsider the structures upon which their own modes of persistence are built.

Stripping away the symbols that we indifferently encounter daily, Kim depicts the unreadable shapes on canvas. The artist’s refusal of readily accepted norms of social symbols feels both lighthearted and romanticized in her art.

Ping Hatta (b. 1990), is an artist whose work explores the intersection of strength and softness within femininity. Inspired by personal narratives, nature, and everyday moments, she paints vibrant, surreal portraits that capture the nuances of womanhood—both its resilience and vulnerability.

Shin Junmin (b. 1985) majored in painting at the College of Fine Arts and the graduate school of Yeungnam University. As a "walker" in everyday life, he has developed a deep interest in the various forms of light, both natural and artificial. His work focuses on visualizing intangible elements such as the day's wind, air, temperature, and sound, all of which contribute to his exploration of light in his paintings.

He has held a total of 10 solo exhibitions to date, including White Out (2024, Pipe Gallery), White Shadow (2024, Artspace Purl), and New Light (2022, Boan Yeogwan 1942). His notable awards include being named Young Artist of the Year (2015, Daegu Culture and Arts Center), Suseong Emerging Artist (2017, Suseong Artpia), Young Artist Support Program (2018-2019, Daegu Foundation for Culture), Ha Jung-woong Young Artist (2019, Gwangju Museum of Art), and First Career Support for Young Artists (2022, Korea Arts Council).

Ellsworth Kelly revolutionary emphasis on pure abstractive forms and innovative treatment of color reshaped the practice of painting in the late 1940s and early 1950s. His approach greatly influenced the nascence of Pop Art, Minimalism, Color Field precipitating the decline of expressionist energetic gestures and the adoption of spare lines and geometries, flatly painted in vivid color.
A sharp observer of the natural world from a young age inspired by the play of light, space and color in the architecture around him, Ellsworth’s use of found compositions was a source of endless inspiration and lifelong artistic openness which he translated into visually powerful multi-panel paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, and photographs. 
Ellsworth Kelly nurtured a special relationship with France. After serving as a soldier in the liberation of the country at the end of the Second World War, Kelly returned to live in France from 1948 to 1954, and returning to the country regularly throughout his life. 
He befriended Picasso, Calder, Brancusi, Arp and familiarised himself the works of Matisse, Monet and geometric abstraction which would influence his painting, particularly in his quest for balance and intensity of feeling.

Yuya Saito was born in Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture. After graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma, USA, he is currently based in New York (Brooklyn). Inspired by skateboarding, which he started as a child, he has set up a new visual language for the streets, “Curved Shape,” and presents his work on the “Relationship between human and the city.” In cities, people, goods, and events converge, the same scenery never repeats itself. Saito perceives the repetition of countless dramas that arise and disappear as key for fostering culture. Also, after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, my hometown was so easily wiped out by the tsunami that I learned about the vulnerability of cities. "Culture that has been fostered because of chaos, and confusion that has arisen because of chaos." Saito believes that the city that has taken on this contradiction holds the key to expressing humans as irrational and cultural creatures. In addition to the unique work of curved surfaces, by intersecting multiple projects such as public art, digital works, and collaboration works with city-related artists, Saito is trying to cut out the present of the city that crosses areas.

Park Seo-Bo was a pivotal figure in Korean contemporary art and a founding member of the Dansaekhwa movement, which emerged in post-war Korea in the early 1970s and has since gained international recognition.
His signature series, 'Ecriture,' began in the late 1960s through the repetition of pencil lines drawn over wet monochromatic surfaces. Over time, he expanded this language by incorporating hanji (traditional Korean paper) and color, creating works through layered actions of pasting, scraping, scratching, and rubbing — a meditative pursuit of emptiness through reduction.
Park's work has been exhibited at major institutions worldwide, including the Venice Biennale, Tate Liverpool, Brooklyn Museum, and Samsung Museum of Art. His works are held in the permanent collections of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, M+, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, and the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea.

Creating captivating and labor-intensive work with the idea of continuing the legacy of the abstract expressionism movement from the 50s and 60s, Taher Jaoui's paintings are rich assemblages of layered forms, vibrant colors, expressive gestures, and mathematics signs and formulas. Applied on canvas through a dynamic interaction, a physical back-and-forth dialogue in which perspective and orientation continuously change until all the elements are balanced right, these opulent creations are the artist's way of expressing himself.

Tingky is an artist who pays attention to the various 'emotions' felt in everyday episodes. Most of the things she experiences are caused by emotions and desires such as joy, sorrow, love, hate and anger. And emotions constitute the landscape of her mental and social life. She believes that emotions are the energy to preserve her existence, and that bad and passive emotions can be overcome through stronger, more joyful and active emotions.
Based on the philosophy of emotion, Tingky created a unique character, 'Kaekumi', with unique and playful humor and wit. Kaekumi dreams of happiness, hope and freedom in a finite and absurd life. It is a symbol of freedom to decide and act on its own feelings and desires. And as an active being in life, it is sometimes even heroic. Tingky reveals a different side of the world that could not be known through Reason, through Kaekumi and the magical powers of emotions. Influenced by the colors and utopian worldview of American and Japanese animations in the 2000s, she delightfully portrays that utopia is something that can be found in practical life.

Peter Ravn explores the existential conditions of being human in contemporary society. Through the loss of identity, control, and certainty, he exposes the latent tension that defines modern existence. His figures appear simultaneously as agents and as victims, inhabiting a liminal state between action and surrender. Rather than offering a linear narrative, Ravn constructs staged scenes and cinematic mise-en-scènes that invite the viewer’s interpretation. His visual language, informed by his background in graphic design and film, evokes theatrical moments of conflict and reflection—an aesthetic inquiry into the psychological and social dimensions of anxiety.

At age 16 Marcelo began exhibiting his work as part of group shows. This he accomplished without formal art training. Driven by a passion for drawing and the encouragement of his uncle, at an early age he explored his interest in colour through the use of watercolours, pastels and coloured pencil. Later he completed a course in art at the Catholic University in Santiago.

His early works were heavily focused on religious themes, influenced by colonial baroque artists such as Bolivian Master of Calamarca, Peruvian Holguin and Italian Bitti among others. This first phase in his career lasted more than five years. Then, he discovered the force and the language of colour. Later his influence came mainly from Brueguel, Bosch, Carrington, Dali, Kahlo and Borda to name a few. This led to a second phase which he calls the “apocalypse” phase and subsequently the “altiplano magico” phase.

For years Marcelo has been engaged in the exploration of another symbolic language. The repetition of the Bolivian altiplano landscape is evident in his work. This is the landscape of his childhood and the memory of the scenery haunts him – it is magical with great power and energy.

The images in Marcelo’s paintings are at the same time whimsical, complex, absurd and surreal. These images appear to him at moments throughout the day and he is compelled to record them as sketches in order not to lose the phantasm.

Hwang Hyeyoung develops her practice around the central figure of the “girl.” In her work, the girl is a symbolic being who transcends specific gender and age.
Through this figure, Hwang reflects her own fragility, immaturity, and honesty, unfolding stories that resonate with her personal journey of growth. She expresses deep empathy for those experiencing the turbulent waves of adolescence, portraying the moments of growth encountered over time by both the girl in her paintings and the artist herself in reality. The forest in which the girl resides symbolizes the trials of adolescence; the expression of diverse emotions, the courage to confront threats and anxieties, and the adventurous spirit to explore new challenges and unknown worlds are all depicted as integral parts of the process of growing up.
