Since 2017, I have been engaged in a long-term project titled My Land, where I construct a world governed by its own set of rules, independent of any known culture in human history. This project encompasses a variety of media, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, and video games, each corresponding to maps, artifacts, inscriptions, and myths of an imagined territory. This territory possesses its own logic, language, and measurement systems that are distinct from human constructs yet function seamlessly. My aim is to explore how convincingly I can present this world and how much viewers are willing to believe in its existence. My Land is spatially organized into 64 distinct units, each labeled with a combination of a letter (A to H) and a number (1 to 8), reminiscent of a chessboard. Given the paradoxical nature of My Land, where depth and height are interchangeable, these floor plans simultaneously function as elevation plans, reflecting the unique spatial dynamics of this imagined world.
